PRIVACY POLICY

Note: This Privacy Policy was last updated on January 1, 2021

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through: (1) our website operated by Colleen Kelly Services as agent and on behalf of Anne Thornton LLC (referred to herein as "we", "us", or "our"); (2) other websites and online services that we own, operate, or make available and that link to the Privacy Policy and (3) to all other general inquiries that we may receive of any type or format.

We are committed to protecting the personal information and right to privacy of our consumers and users (referred to as "you" or "your" in this Privacy Policy). We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of individual-specific information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“Personal Information”).  If you have any questions or concerns about our policy, or our practices with regards to your Personal Information, please contact us at info@thorsoutdoorscienceacademy.com.

When you visit our website https://www.thorsoutdoorscienceacademy.com, and use our services, you trust us with your Personal Information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy policy, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have in relation to it. If you are asked to submit registration details via this site, you may be requested to agree to additional terms regarding our use of your Personal Information, and those additional terms will apply in that context. Any additional terms will be provided for your review at the time of registration. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy before you send or share Personal Information with us or use our websites. We also encourage you to read it again when you return to our website. If there are any terms in this privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our website (such as https://www.thorsoutdoorscienceacademy.com), and/or any related services, sales, marketing or events (we refer to them collectively in this privacy policy as the "Services").

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

We do not collect Personal Information at the present time although we may in the future and will then update our policies accordingly. The type of Personal Information we may collect will depend upon what we will need to provide you with the product or service you are interested in.

Please note that we will also be utilizing the services of a third-party independent merchandise company, who will be also collecting Personal Information from you. This merchandise company is not owned by us. You can access the merchandise company information, including their website and privacy policy, by clicking HERE

All Personal Information that you provide must be true, complete and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such Personal Information.

You will be using the services of our merchandise company, which is separate from us. You will move away from this site when engaging in those activities and those sites will have their own privacy policies. Therefore, please review those privacy policies before using those separate sites. See also “Third-Party Site Links” below.

We may receive information about you, including Personal Information, from third parties. For example, if you are on another website and you opt-in to receive information from us, that website will forward to us your email address and other information about you so that we may contact you as requested.

Google Account Authentication. Google’s authentication method called OAuth 2.0 is an open standard authorization protocol that allows third parties to obtain your user data without access to your passwords. By enabling OAuth 2.0, you permit third party applications and services, such as Google, to provide your third party account information, such as user ID, name, location, and IP address to Credit IQ, solely for identification purposes during login. If stored, we will store such account information in a database hosted in Amazon Web Services. Credit IQ will not need to know or store your passwords for third party applications and services. OAuth 2.0 allows a Credit IQ User to revoke Credit IQ’s access at any time in Google settings. If a Credit IQ User revokes Credit IQ’s access, our Service does not have access to any of the user data anymore. If OAuth 2.0 is not supported, we will require your account username and password in order to provide the Service.

USAGE TRACKING: USE OF IP ADDRESSES

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use or navigate the Services. This information may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services and other technical information.

An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are using the Internet. Web servers, the main computers that serve up web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes. As permitted under applicable law, we collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, gathering and analyzing aggregated information, creating a better experience for users and auditing the use of our sites. We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that your session will be logged, but you remain anonymous to us. We will seek to link your IP address when we feel it is necessary to protect our sites and other users from harm and to prevent criminal misconduct. Please see the section on “Use of "Cookies”."

This helps us to improve the way our websites work, for example by making sure users are finding what they need easily. We collect cookie identifiers, or others such as the ones used for analytics and marketing; tools and protocols, such as IP (Internet Protocol) addresses; applications; devices; and other similar data.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

What do we need to do here?

ANSWER: One suggestion is to implement a system using a short form to be completed which requires the minor to have his/her guardian sign off. I would also suggest you view other sites that have child users, to see how they handle. The objective here is to have some level of protection against children giving up their personal info on the website with parental consent.

Our Website is not intended for children under 13 years of age unless under the supervision of a parent or legal custodian. No one under age 13 may provide any Personal Information to or on the Website unless under the supervision of a parent or legal custodian. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental/legal custodian consent, we will delete that information. If you are a parent or legal guardian and you believe that your child under age 13 may have provided personally identifiable information through any of our websites, please contact us using the information in the "Contact Information" section.
