Physics and the Law of Conservation of Energy

Writer's picture: ThorThor

Let’s talk about physics and the law of conservation of energy. The main goal of physics is to understand how the universe behaves. It includes the study of matter and energy, heat, light, radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms. The law of conservation of energy states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed - only converted from one form of energy to another. For human survival that means that plants convert the sun’s energy into sugar. Animals eat the plants and each other and humans eat the plants and the animals. This gives us energy to run a marathon or answer emails or vote!
